Spring Rain in Hai Phong
Spring Rain in Hai Phong aims to mimic the feeling of sitting in front of a home on a quiet street in Hai Phong, Vietnam. This quiet pensive moment - one that I had when I was sixteen - sits with me for the way I was enthralled by the town and the neighborhood, but took this in silence as someone who was there as an outsider. I did not speak the language and was there to meet my friend's family, but they were at prayer. Instead, I got to simply observe and sit with my emotions. I wanted to share the pensiveness and wonder that came that I experienced then.

Deterioration (Raw Score)
Deterioration is a sound art/music piece that utilizes a cassette tape that allows viewers/listeners to pause, fast forward, rewind, and so on to listen as they wish. Over time, the cassette tape slowly deteriorates in quality, resulting in more and more distortion until it breaks completely.
The ever changing nature of Deterioration engages the listener with the fact that what they hear will never sound exactly the same and the to illicit a form of dread.
